Privacy policy

Draft — this text will be reviewed by a lawyer before Bless Talk charges any learner. Version 2026-11-draft.

What we collect

Your e-mail, your name (if it comes from Google), your native language, your goal, your daily time and reminder, your progress and the text transcript of your tutor calls.

What we never keep

We do not store audio or video of your calls. Your camera is never used.

Why

To create your account, suggest your path, adapt the tutor to your native language and show your progress.

Legal basis

We process your data to provide the service you signed up for (contract), with your consent for voice processing in calls, and for our legitimate interest in keeping the app secure and improving it (anonymous usage metrics and error reports).

Your consent

You accept the terms and this policy at sign-up. Before your first call we ask for a specific consent to process your voice (it is sent live to OpenAI and never recorded). To withdraw it, delete your account in Profile or write to the privacy contact.

Services that process data

Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), OpenAI (tutor voice during calls, word audio and answer transcription), Simli (tutor's face: receives only the tutor's audio, never yours), Anthropic/Claude (call reports, "How do I say it?" and level rating, from the call text), Stripe (payments, when they start), Resend (e-mails), PostHog (usage metrics, without e-mail or conversation text) and Sentry (error reports, without e-mail). Some of them process data outside Brazil (mainly in the United States), under their data processing agreements.

How long we keep it

Call transcripts are kept for 12 months; after that, only the call report remains.

Security

Your data is protected by access rules in the database (each learner only sees their own rows), encrypted connections and keys kept only on the server.

Your rights

In Profile you can download your data (JSON file) and delete your account. Deleting removes your profile, progress, notebook, transcripts, reports and your sign-in. You can also ask us to access, correct or explain how we use your data, or withdraw a consent, through the privacy contact.

Metrics and errors

We use PostHog to count how the app is used (pages, finished steps, call minutes), identified only by an internal code, without cookies, e-mail or the text of your conversations. Sentry receives technical error reports with personal data removed.

Contact

This text is being prepared with the Brazilian LGPD and the European GDPR in mind. The privacy contact will be listed in the final version.
